FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: infrared monitoring of the colour variation dynamics of the image of the bare limb proximal part surface after a 2-minute cooling action on its distal part and recording at the time of maximum temperature contrast of veins. For cooling, distilled water at a temperature of +18 - +20°C is used. Prior to the monitoring, the body of the subject is laid horizontally, the limb is straightened, placed along the trunk, the surface to be examined is left visible, the limb is fixed in this position. The thermal imager is installed perpendicular to the surface under investigation, after which the monitoring is immediately started.
EFFECT: decreased risk of thrombotic, ischemic and cold complications during infrared thermography.
