FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: differential measurer of the fluid optical density includes a light-tight housing, a light emitter, two identical flow-through measuring cells with branch pipes for fluid inlet and outlet, an emitter, optical windows for emission inlet and outlet, photoelectric receivers of measuring channel signals, a differential amplifier. The light emitter is made of an infrared light-emitting diode cluster equipped with a circuit of automatic adjustment of the emission level, based on a series-connected photodiode receiver, a pulse amplifier, a synchronous detector and a modulator connected to a pulse generator.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the measurer.
