SUBSTANCE: method includes manufacture of a physical full-scale model and contains steps to provide a virtual dental arch, a set of virtual orthodontic braces for a virtual dental arch and a virtual set of modeling elements. Each modeling element corresponds to a virtual bracket from a virtual set of brackets, and the shape of at least one modeling element is different from the shape of the bracket associated with it. The method further includes the steps of provision of a virtual full-scale model in which a virtual dental arch and a set of virtual modeling elements are combined and manufacture of a physical full-scale model based on a virtual full-scale model. The physical full-scale model has a shape formed by the shape of the dental arch and the shape of the set of modeling elements.
EFFECT: invention facilitates bracket attachment to the patient's teeth.
