FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, specifically to orthodontics, and is intended for use in the correction of the position of human teeth using braces. Computer tomography of the patient is performed, 3-D scans of the patient's jaws are taken. Final position of the teeth is determined and agreed with the patient, on the basis of which a virtual setup is made – a plan for moving the teeth to the required final position. Shape of the orthodontic arch is specified at the end of treatment and a design of the dental bracket system. Derived data are used to select at least two points in the alveolar process for placing the micro-screws to create a cortical support. Micro-screws are arranged so that to be spaced from the dental roots both in the initial, and final position and not to impede the dental motion from the initial position to the final position. Templates are made for installation of micro-screws, and using them, installing micro-screws. Abutments on the micro-screws are used to fix a dental arch provided with support elements for the orthodontic arch; the braces are fixed on the teeth, and a bracket system is mounted with using the support elements of the orthodontic arch for fixing the orthodontic arch. Orthodontic apparatus is provided with a bar on which there are at least three supports for placing the orthodontic arch therein, wherein the bar is rigidly fixed in the patient's cortical bone during the correction of the teeth position. Bar of the orthodontic apparatus follows the contour of the patient's mucosa and has at least two abutments attached to the micro-screws mounted in the patient's cortical bone. Bar is provided with at least one support element arranged in a cantilever for installation of the orthodontic arch, and rear ends of the bar are bent towards the orthodontic arch with the support elements arranged on their ends. All support elements are made so that they do not interact with braces during the whole process of the patient's teeth position correction.
EFFECT: methods due to the fact that the orthodontic arc of the braces has support points that are fixed relative to the patient's jaw bone, which makes the arc inserted into the bar holders, and therefore, and the teeth take the required pre-simulated end position, providing the predictable and accurate movement of the patient's teeth to the end position in accordance with the created virtual treatment plan with a significant reduction in the time of the entire process.
