FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, involves a device for making dental restorations, a method for making a dental model, a dental die used in the dental model and a method for making it, and aims at making the dental restorations with using so called Geller cast model. The device for making the dental restorations comprises a dental cast model of the dental patient and a hole in the above model applicable for the dental die comprising an internal wall narrowing to receive the dental die, and a number of bearing elements extending from the side wall to a common location inside the hole. The dental die comprises an upper portion having a surface shaped after a tooth, and a lower portion narrowing to be inserted in the dental cast model. The method for making the die involves the stages which involve digital presentation of the patient's dental cast surface from a three-dimensional scanner including the tooth to be restored; a digital die model is created, and the die is made using the digital model using a computerised method for making. The method for making the model involves the stages providing digital presentation of the patient's dental cast surface from the three-dimensional scanner including the tooth to be prepared; the digital die model and a number of bearing elements is created in the digital model; a physical model is made from the dental cast model with using a computerised method for making.

EFFECT: invention enables providing accurate making of dental restorations by the fact that greater flat surfaces are absent in the dental die that enables providing more accurate making and mutual seating of the dental dies and/or dental cast models along x, y and z axes using a computerised system, particularly surfaces wherein a critical alignment of the dental die and z-axis is observed.
