SUBSTANCE: method includes determining a plant variety grown in a flower pot by using a terminal device located on the flower pot; loading a standard growing curve corresponding to the plant variety from the plant database in the cloud server in accordance with the plant variety. The standard growing curve is adjusted according to the parameters of the environment in which the flower pot is located, then the environmental conditions for growing plants are adjusted in accordance with the adjusted growing curve. The device comprises a determination module made with the ability to determine a standard growing curve of the plant grown in the flower pot; the first adjustment module made with the ability to adjust the standard growing curve determined using the determination module in accordance with the environment in which the flower pot is located, to get the adjusted growing curve; and the second adjustment module made with the ability to adjust the environment conditions for growing the plant in accordance with the growing curve adjusted using the first adjustment module. Wherein the determination module comprises a first determination submodule configured to determine the variety of the plant grown in the flower pot by means of the use of a terminal device located on the flower pot; and a loading submodule configured to load the standard growing curve corresponding to the plant variety from the plant database in the cloud server, in accordance with the plant variety identified by means of the determination submodule. The device for use in adjusting the environmental conditions for growing a plant comprises a processor and memory for storing commands executed by the processor for carrying out the method according to claim 1.
