FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: assembly includes a clutch portion having a plurality of grooves accommodating the end portions of the optical fibres, where the grooves define the position and orientation of the end portions relative to the clutch portion. The assembly includes an integrated optical element for connecting the input/output of the optical fibre to optoelectronic devices in the optoelectronic module. The optical element can be made in the form of a structured reflective surface. The end portion of the optical fibre is at a predetermined distance from the structured reflective surface and aligned (adjusted) with respect to the structured reflective surface. Structured reflective surfaces and grooves for aligning the fibre can be formed by stamping.
EFFECT: optical adjustment, processability, ease of use, functionality and reliability are improved with reduced costs.
