SUBSTANCE: cable tray section (1) containing a wire mesh formed by joining the longitudinal bars of the base (3) and the transverse weft bars (4) forming the base (5) and the two wings (6); lateral connecting elements (7) superimposed on the wings (6) of the section (1) and containing a loop (9) and two cross-members (10) essentially perpendicular to the loop (9), namely, the upper crossbar (11) and the lower crossbar (12), in which the connecting element comprises a hook (13) forming a recess (14) facing outwardly of the section (1), wherein the said hook (13) is located on the extension of the upper cross-member (11); the loop (9) slopes relative to the wing (6) allowing the section (1) to be interlocked with the adjacent section (1).
EFFECT: convenience of the tray assembly, mechanical strength.
