FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method provides sampling of manure, manure homogenization using sterile porcelain mortars and pestles, 10% suspension is prepared in sterile physiological saline or phosphate buffer. Centrifugation is carried out with suspension phase separation. The centrifuged suspension is allowed to stand and an aliquot of the supernatant is used to isolate the African swine fever virus DNA. DNA is detected by a polymerase chain reaction with a fluorescent detector in real time. If a fragment of the African swine fever virus genome is detected in at least one of the samples, all manure contained in the manure storage is re-disinfected.
EFFECT: invention allows to simplify the detection of African swine fever virus.
