FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for partial discharges measurement consists of high voltage application to the test object and temporary fixation of the signal from the sensor, its filtration and recording. At that, a similar recording of the signal is repeated with the object switched off and the second signal is subtracted from the first signal for a similar period of time. The result obtained is used to evaluate the state of electrical equipment. Additionally, the applied test voltage is synchronized with the mains voltage.

EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy by reducing interference.
