SUBSTANCE: method of processing slides with a mirror coating includes disinfection by immersing the glass in a vertical position in a container of 70% ethyl alcohol for 30 minutes; pre-sterilisation cleaning by immersing the glass in a vertical position in a container with distilled water up to a volume of 200 ml in which 5 g of the detergent are dissolved; while the initial solution temperature of 30°C glasses are kept therein for 30 minutes, after which every glass is washed in this solution using a sterile cotton swabs; glasses are rinsed under running water for three minutes, then glasses rinsed with distilled water for five minutes; glasses are dried upright in a laminar flow hood at room temperature until complete disappearance of moisture; sterilisation by UV irradiation of the glasses in a laminar flow hood for 30 minutes; each glass is wrapped in a sterile material and placed in a sterile Petri dish that is sealed.
