Abstract RU 2639856 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: patient fills in a questionnaire with scoring of the sounds perception degree criteria: "I experience difficulties when watching TV, listening to the radio; It's difficult to communicate when several people speak; I get lost and nervous, if I can not understand where the source of the sound is; I experience difficulties communicating by telephone; There are difficulties in communication in noisy environments with large crowds; I am bothered by noise in the ears or in the head, which prevents from focusing; I experience communication difficulties at work or at school, or at the university because I don't understand the meaning of the speaker's words; I have a feeling that I hear all the sounds around me well, but I do not understand the meaning of words and phrases; Loud sounds cause a strong, sometimes painful, irritation". Then the doctor summarizes the scores obtained and, depending on the scores obtained, the absence of significant hearing impairment, subclinical disorders, or the presence of clinical disorders of the auditory function are determined.

EFFECT: method allows to determine the probability of auditory function violations in a patient by taking into account the level of emotional stress in a particular situation, and to reduce the examination time for patients with sensoneural hearing disorders and differentiate treatment and rehabilitation activities.
