SUBSTANCE: absorbent product (200) has a liquid-permeable surface and an opposite liquid-tight surface, wherein the absorbent product (200) contains a deodorizing material (1). The deodorizing material (1) comprises a carrier material (2) and a plurality of deodorant particles (5) adsorbed to the carrier material (2). The carrier material (2) has the first surface, located on the side of the liquid-permeable surface of the absorbent product (200), and the second opposite surface located on the side of the liquid-tight surface of the absorbent product (200). A plurality of deodorant particles (5) are attached to the second surface of the carrier material (2) by means of a water-soluble binder. The water-soluble binder is at least partially soluble in contact with the aqueous solution.
EFFECT: effectively functioning deodorizing material.
