FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: antenna comprises four folded dipoles. The dipoles are located in pairs in pairs above the screen in mutually orthogonal planes. Each dipole is made in the form of a half bracket and has a linear section and a curved section. The curved sections are closed to the screen. The linear sections are parallel to the screen, their ends are located near the center of the antenna and excited with equal amplitude with a progressive 90° phase shift. The length of the antenna dipoles is not less than 0.25 of the center wavelength. Linear directors with length of 0.4 of the center wavelength are located in parallel to the screen, in front of the dipoles in mutually orthogonal planes. The ends of the linear directors are conductively connected by conductors with a length of 0.3 of the center wavelength with the dipole excitation points. A ring director centered on the antenna axis is mounted between the dipoles and the linear directors parallel to the screen plane. The circumference of the ring director is equal to the center wavelength.
EFFECT: increasing gain factor, simplifying power supply unit, ensuring operation in the modes of circular and linear polarizations with higher quality of plant and lower ellipticity of circular polarization.
