FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: radiation gas burner contains a hollow body with gas supply and an infrared emitter, the body is in the form of a cylindrical vessel of alternating diameter with confuser, neck and diffuser. In the diffuser there is a flow distributor, and the infrared emitter is made of a porous heat-resistant material in the form of a hollow tube with a spherical head, radiator length is equal to 2-3.5 diameters of radiator. Radiator wall has the same thickness in cylindrical and spherical parts, and the ratio of the thickness of the infrared radiator wall to its diameter is 1:6, porosity of the infrared radiator is 50-60%, the structure of pore space of the infrared radiator is isotropic with the size of the gas transport pores 400-1000 mcm. Neck of body is made with narrowing whose diameter is equal to 0.4-0.8 of diameter of the infrared radiator. The flow distributor is made conical. The gap between the diffuser wall and the flow distributor is equal to 0.1-0.2 diameters of the infrared radiator.
EFFECT: increase the operational and environmental characteristics of axisymmetric burners by organising combustion of fuel-air mixture in the internal cavity of the porous radiator.
