FIELD: gas burners.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas burners for heating devices for various purposes, using the heat of a combusted gaseous hydrocarbon fuel, namely to permeable matrices for such burners, primarily for infrared radiation. A permeable matrix for an infrared burner consists of a wire-permeable material and has at least two layers pressed together, one of which is made of stainless steel, and the other is made of fechral. The matrix has an additional radiating layer made of fechral and installed at a distance of at least 2 mm from the fechral layer. The wire-permeable material is made of twisted spirals or corrugated mesh or sleeve mesh.
EFFECT: increasing the operational reliability, service life, combustion efficiency and environmental friendliness of the infrared gas burner, as well as improving the manufacturability of its manufacture through the use of a multilayer matrix of wire-permeable material in the design.
