In this case, the power level of the spectral component of the signal with the maximum amplitude value is measured, and the signal bandwidth is measured within the band of its half-power. While the decision about the nominal transfer rating is made on the basis of the results of the comparison of the measured values of the bandwidth with the pre-computed values corresponding to those nominal rates that are intended to operate with the radio modems. The desired value is the difference at which the results of the measurement are the least.
EFFECT: extending the scope of its application, ensuring its direct use for implementing automatic signal element transmission rating in radio modems, including noise conditions, resulting in the distortion of the function of enveloping spectral power spectrum.
