FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: local immersion tank (LIT) for ultrasonic control of sheets includes a housing and at least one ultrasonic transducers line (UTL), which additionally contains at least one acoustic mirrors line (AML) deploying ultrasonic beams at a given angle, and a mirror rotation device (MRD), which allows to correct the angle of incidence of ultrasonic beams on the sheet surface relative to its nominal value, and also to rotate the AML for additional cleaning of its working surface.
EFFECT: improving the quality and reliability of ultrasonic testing.
