The rotating saw band 5 by means of the feed movement 13 of the upper part 4 of the band saw, which is carried out with respect to the lower part 1 of the band saw, is cut into the metal pipe 3 and passed through it for the purpose of cutting. The feed-motion is mainly in the direction opposite to the action of gravity.

EFFECT: improving the quality of the cut and increasing the strength of the saw.
