FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: phosphate glass containing silver ions locally irradiated with femtosecond laser pulses with a wavelength in the near infrared range, with the energy of the laser pulses in the range of 30-200 nJ, the duration of the laser pulses in the range 300-1200 FS, repetition frequency of laser pulses in the range of 1-500 kHz. To focus the laser beam, a lens with a numerical aperture of 0.4-0.9 is used.
EFFECT: increasing the density of information recording using luminescence parameters and birefringence of microregions.
