FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method is implemented by applying a hard reinforcement ring, serving as a cylindrical ring. The ring, when the uncured tire is placed in the mould and the diaphragm is pressed from the inside of the uncured tire to its outer side in the radial direction of the tire to perform the mould curing, is located between the inner circular surface of the uncured tire area, corresponding to the tread portion, and the outer circular surface of the diaphragm area, corresponding to the tread portion. The stress necessary to cause stretch elongation of a predetermined value in the circumferential direction of the ring is greater than the stress necessary to cause compression deformation of a predetermined value in the circumferential direction.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of the dimensions of the pneumatic tire and prevention of performance degradation and limiting the range of possible solutions in the design.
