FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: uncured tyre and toroidal support are installed inside vulcanising form, in which molding cavity is created, for molding and vulcanisation of uncured tyre. Molding cavity includes section, in which molding and vulcanisation are performed with formation at constant volume. Application of elastomer material onto rigid toroidal support is performed by control of elastomer material volume distribution on toroidal support to correspond to preset curve of material excess volume. Curve indicates differences between distribution of material volume, which forms uncured tyre, and volume that is available in section of molding cavity, which is intended for molding and vulcanisation of uncured tyre, with constant volume.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce amount of waste in production of tyres by drawing and analysis of curve.
