FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: process cartridge for an electrophotographic image formation device, where the main assembly of said device includes the first and second engaging portions of the main assembly, wherein the first engaging portion of the main assembly having a recess and the second engaging portion of the main assembly having a drive shaft, and the portion of rotation force application, provided on the drive shaft, wherein said process cartridge is removable from the main assembly in the removal direction, substantially perpendicular axial direction of the drive shaft. The said process cartridge comprises: i) an electrophotographic photosensitive drum; ii) a first connecting member rotatable about the axis of the first connecting member by means of a first rotation force received from the first engaging portion of the main assembly to receive rotation force to be transmitted to said electrophotographic photosensitive drum from the first engaging portion of the main assembly, wherein the said first connecting member is made in the form of a protrusion engaged with a recess of the first engaging portion of the main assembly; iii) a developing roller for developing latent image formed on said electrophotographic photosensitive drum rotated about its roller axis; and iv) a second connecting member rotatable about the axis of the second connecting member by a rotation force, wherein said second connecting member includes rotation force receiving portion engaged with a rotation force application portion to receive the second rotation force to be transferred to said developing roller from the second engaging portion of the main assembly, and the part of rotational force transmission.
EFFECT: providing a developing cartridge that can be removably mounted in the main assembly of the electrophotographic image formation device by the user, allowing the user himself to maintain the image formation device in good order, thereby providing a significant improvement to the electrophotographic image formation device with respect to convenience and ease of use, in particular its content and maintenance.
