FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to cartridge and electrophotographic image forming apparatus in which cartridge is mounted with possibility of disconnection. Disclosed is a cartridge for an electrophotographic image forming device, where a main assembly of said device includes an engaging portion of a main assembly driven by an electric motor and having a drive shaft, as well as part of application of rotary force provided on drive shaft, and electrophotographic photosensitive drum, wherein said cartridge is configured to be installed in the main assembly in the installation direction, substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the drive shaft, and wherein said cartridge comprises: a developing roller for developing a latent image formed on said electrophotographic photosensitive drum, rotated around a roller axis, and connecting element, rotated around axis of connecting element by means of rotary force received from engaging part of main assembly, wherein said connecting member includes a rotary force receiving portion engaged with a rotary force applying portion to receive a rotary force, which must be transferred to said developing roller from engaging part of main assembly, and rotary force transmission part, intended for transfer of rotary force to said developing roller through said part of rotary force reception, wherein said connecting element is movable between rotary force transmission angular position, in which said axis of connecting member is substantially parallel to said roller axis, and an inclined position in which said axis of connecting member is inclined relative to said roller axis, and during installation of said cartridge into said main assembly said connector moves from said inclined position into said angular position of transfer of rotary force for engagement with engaging part of main assembly.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide cartridge, which can be removably mounted in the main unit of the electrophotographic image forming device by the user, allowing the user to keep the image forming device in good condition (without relying on the service personnel), thereby ensures significant improvement in device electrophotographic imaging with respect to convenience and ease of use, in particular with regard to its content and maintenance.
