FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to cartridge and electrophotographic image forming apparatus in which cartridge is mounted with possibility of disconnection. Disclosed process cartridge for an electrophotographic image forming device comprises: i) an electrophotographic photosensitive drum rotated around a drum axis and intended to carry a latent image, ii) a first connecting element rotated about an axis of the first connecting element by a first rotary force received from the first engaging part of the primary assembly, to receive a first rotary force to be transmitted to said electrophotographic photosensitive drum from the first engaging part of main assembly, wherein said first connecting element is made in the form of a protrusion engaged with a recess of the first engaging part of the main assembly, iii) a developing roller for developing a latent image formed on said electrophotographic photosensitive drum, rotated about a roller axis, and iv) second connecting element rotated about axis of second connecting element by means of second rotating force received from second engaging part of main assembly, wherein said second connecting element includes a rotary force receiving portion engaged with a part of applying a rotary force to receive a second rotational force to be transmitted to said developing roller from the second engaging part of the main assembly, and a rotary force transmission portion for transmitting a second rotational force to said developing roller from said rotary force receiving part, wherein said second connecting element is movable between a rotary force transmission position, in which said axis of the second connecting element is parallel to said roller axis, and the position before engagement, in which the side of the axis of the second connecting element, which is located on the side of the receiving part of the rotating force, is located behind the side of the axis of the second connecting element located on the side of the transmission part of the rotating force, in the installation direction, and said second connecting element has the ability to engage with second engaging part of main assembly by moving from position before engagement into position of transfer of rotary force.
EFFECT: technical result is providing a developing cartridge, which can be removably mounted in a main unit of the electrophotographic image forming device by a user, allowing user to maintain image processing device (without relying on service personnel), thereby ensures significant improvement in electrophotographic imaging device with respect to convenience and ease of use, in particular with regard to its content and maintenance.
