FIELD: imaging technology.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge for use with the main unit of an electrophotographic imaging device, where the main unit includes a drive shaft having a part of applying the rotational force. The cartridge is removable from the main assembly in a direction essentially perpendicular to the axial direction of the drive shaft, and includes a developing roller that is rotated around its axis, and a connecting element (150) engaged with a part (180) of applying rotational force to receive rotational force to rotate the developing roller. The connecting element is capable of taking an angular position of the transmission of the rotating force for the transmission of the rotating force for the rotation of the developing roller and an angular position in which the connecting element is deflected from the angular position of the transmission of the rotating force. At the same time, when the cartridge is removed from the main assembly, the connecting element moves from the angular position of the transmission of rotational force to the angular position of disengagement.
