SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the formation of the time marks of detected emission quanta and finds application in the field of high-energy particle physics. The device comprises a pixel array of the optical detector, a time mark operation unit, and a synchronization unit. The time mark operation unit determines the frequency of a pixel cell operation for pixel cells within the pixel matrix of the optical detector. The time mark operation unit causes the synchronization unit to generate a time mark based on the frequency of the pixel cell operation.

EFFECT: improvement of noise suppression during generation of time marks of detected emission quanta in the fields of application of high energy particle physics.
