SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of detectors. Module (10) of a radiation detector to be used in time-of-f light positron-emission (TOF-PET) tomographic scanner (8) shapes a trigger signal indicating the detected radiation event. Synchronisation circuit (22) including the first time analogue-to-digital converter (30) (TDC) and the second TDC (31) is configured for output of the corrected time mark for the detected radiation event based on the first time mark determined by the first TDC (30) and the second time mark determined by the second TDC (31). The first TDC is synchronised as per the first reference clock signal (40, 53), and the second TDC is synchronised as per the second reference clock signal (42, 54), with that, the first and the second reference clock signals are asynchronous.
EFFECT: improvement of time resolution of synchronisation circuits.
