FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a prosthesis cover to be worn on an amputation stump before it is inserted into the prosthesis sleeve (according to claim 1), and a prosthesis (according to claim 11) interacting with the cover (according to claim 1). The cover has a proximal opening for amputation stump reception and a distal end opposite the proximal opening. The longitudinal direction of the cover extends from the proximal opening to the distal end, and the circumferential direction runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The cover has a plurality of fibers which consist of an inelastic material and are arranged so that the cover extension in the longitudinal direction entails cover shortening in the circumferential direction and vice versa. The cover has anti-slip means, which prevent the cover from shifting on the amputation stump in the enclosed state of the cover. The prosthesis according to claim 11 comprises a prosthetic device according to claim 1, a prosthesis sleeve for receiving said cover and a prosthetic device. The prosthetic device is adapted to be fixed at the distal and/or proximal end of the prosthesis sleeve.

EFFECT: more reliable retention of cover and prosthesis on the amputation stump of the patient during a long-time interval and prevention of amputation stump bulging out from the frame trunk windows.
