The belt tensioning system of the car engine comprises an actuator for changing the tension of the drive belt and the belt tension controller. Belt tension controller with control by the Executive Body, to increase the tension of the drive belt to high levels, while the engine shutdown is performed. The car contains the aforesaid tensioning system of the engine drive belt.
EFFECT: reducing the delay in starting the engine by increasing the efficiency of the belt tension system.
