SUBSTANCE: field device for monitoring the technological parameter of the fluid of the industrial process contains a technological component, which represents the relative movement depending on the technological parameter, an image capturing device that varies due to the relative motion of the technological component, and an image processor connected to the image capturing device. The processor detects the relative motion of the technology component based on the captured image and the technological parameter is measure based on the relative motion detected. The output circuit connected to the image processor provides an output signal related to the measured technological parameter.
EFFECT: accuracy of monitoring is increased.
