SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to wireless monitoring means. In order to achieve technical result, wireless device for monitoring of production process, which includes controller configured to monitor the operation of the wireless process monitoring device, an ambient sensor which is configured to sense the environment of the production process closest to the device and respond to the sensor output signal. Output circuits are configured to provide output data based on sensor output signal. Controller instructs the ambient sensor to enter high power mode after detecting an unidentified anomaly in the output signal of the sensor.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption.
