SUBSTANCE: method of identification of bonding of β-glucan with immune cells of an individual includes obtaining a blood sample of the individual, where the blood sample contains immune cells, adding soluble β-glucan in at least a part of the blood sample, incubation of the mixture in the conditions that allow the soluble β-glucan to bond with immune cells, and detection of soluble β-glucan, bonding with immune cells. The method of improvement of β-glucan immunotherapy in an individual includes the identification of an individual as: having an IgG antibody titer against β-glucan in the amount of 20,000 or less, or having no more than 10% of immune cells in a blood sample of an individual, bonding to a soluble β-glucan of yeast after incubation; and co-administration of a soluble individual β-glucan of yeast and an antibody preparation, containing serum from an individual having IgG antibody titer against β-glucan in the amount of at least 25,000, or a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds a soluble β-glucan of yeast.
