Axis is marked by applying point scarifiers with the coloring along the edges of this axis at the points of intersection with the limb. Lens is positioned in a capsule bag in accordance with the marked axis.

EFFECT: method simplifies the positioning of the lens, reduces traumatism and economy, improves positioning accuracy due to the definition of the prescribed axis of astigmatism and the possibility of long-term preservation of its marking.
