FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Tunnel incision and two paracenteses are formed, an anterior capsulorhexis, phacoemulsification of a crystalline lens are performed, and a toric intraocular lens (TIOL) is implanted into a capsular sac. After implantation of TIOL into capsular sac, posterior capsulorhexis is performed concentrically to anterior capsulorhexis, but of smaller diameter. Further, the TIOL is positioned in the capsular sac in accordance with the toric marking. Optical part of the TIOL is dislocated through a posterior capsulorhexis behind a posterior capsule with the help of a microhook, and the haptic elements of the lens are left in the capsular sac. In a particular case, the diameter of the posterior capsulorhexis is not less than 4 mm.
EFFECT: method enables to provide centralization of TIOL and rotational stability, reduce the risk of developing secondary cataract, reducing the risk of developing intra- and postoperative complications in the early and remote postoperative period, achieving the maximum possible functional result.
