FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves combining the blow-off of the water-methanol mixture with gas-carrier and concentration in the vapour phase using water-selective membranes with dominating water vapour permeability in water or methanol-selective membranes with dominating methanol vapour permeability, removal of retentate or permeate and its condensation for production of methanol concentrate, the temperature in membrane module is maintained within 50-60°C, the concentrate is withdrawn from liquid phase as a product, and the gas-carrier after condenser is sent to the membrane module and further to gas blower for recycling. A device for continuous separation of methanol from water-methanol process mixtures for reuse consists of blowing column pipelines connected in series with each other, the gas blower, vapour-phase membrane separating module equipped with water-selective or methanol-selective membrane, and a condenser. The membrane module is provided with water-selective membranes with specific vapour permeability of at least 0.28 kg/(m2⋅h) and selectivity of water/methanol vapour permeability in vapour phase in the range from 3.8 to 55.5 or methanol-selective membranes with specific vapour permeability of not less than 0.65 kg/(m2⋅h) and selectivity of methanol/water vapour permeability in vapour phase not less than 1.3. The condenser is connected to the membrane module by additional pipeline and further to the gas blower.
