FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: essence of the invention consists in determining critical sections of the pipeline with reduced bearing capacity, in which the value of actual throughput capacity is below the value of design throughput capacity, and increase the actual bearing capacity of pipeline critical sections up to design capacity. Increased bearing capacity of the pipeline critical sections is realised by replacing with a pipe of higher class of strength, with a larger pipe wall or installing a repair structure.
EFFECT: increased pipeline throughput capacity to design value due to increased bearing capacity of the pipeline critical sections.
