With the increase in caliber of retinal veins of the first and second order by 16–20 %, angioretinopathy is diagnosed in atherosclerosis. With the decrease in caliber of retinal arteries of the first and second order by 15–30 % – arterial hypertension.

EFFECT: method provides non-invasiveness, improvement of the quality of angioretinopathy diagnostics in patients with suspected atherosclerosis and arterial hypertension, an adequate choice of therapeutic tactics, control of changes dynamics in the fundus due to accurate assessment of retinal vessels internal caliber.
