SUBSTANCE: device comprises a bus interface with at least one memory module; a logic circuit of the memory controller, which is capable of performing operations during work. Operations include programming the memory module to run training mode, in which the memory module sends continuous bit patterns along the sideband path of the bus interface; receiving the bit patterns for the bus interface; determining transition of values in the bit pattern from the received bit patterns to determine the data window between certain transitions of values; and determining setting for controlling the device of phase interpolation to generate interpolated signals used to select data within a certain window data.
EFFECT: improved effectiveness of reading training.
