FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: boiler equipment and pipelines are filled with liquid by forcing pressure to the value of test pressure. After reaching the value of the test pressure, the boiler equipment and pipelines are kept at this pressure for at least 15 minutes. Then pressure is reduced, visual inspection of the boiler equipment and pipelines is carried out. If there are no leakage of liquid and metal discontinuities, it is concluded that the boiler equipment and pipelines are suitable for operation.
EFFECT: improved reliability of boiler equipment and pipelines operation.
