FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used for determination of optimum temperature of passivation of tubular elements of the heat power equipment. The essence of the invention consists in that the measurement standard is prepared and exposed to heat cycling, meanwhile using the x-ray diffraction method the internal structural tensions of types I and II are determined, the curves of correlation of internal structural tensions of types I and II with the temperature heat cycling, using the area of a simultaneous relaxation of internal structural tensions and respective passivation temperature, are determined.
EFFECT: possibility of determination of optimum passivation temperature for various steel grades on the basis of assessment of the stress state of heat-stressed surfaces.
