FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: induction flowmeter of liquid metal based on measuring the degree of deformation of magnetic field in channel caused by the movement of liquid metal, contains the primary transformer and measuring device. The primary transformer has a tube, an inductor that creates magnetic field in the tube channel, two back-to-back indicator coils that sense the deformation of magnetic field curve, and at least two power coils producing an inverse deformation of the magnetic field curve. The primary transformer has two electrodes welded to the tube outer surface located diametrically opposed on a line perpendicular to the channel axis and the direction of magnetic field and connected to the input of the measuring device. The difference of potentials between the electrodes, measured by the measuring device, serves as a measuring the consumption of liquid metal.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measuring the consumption of liquid metal.
