FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrument making, namely to equipment for measuring flow rate of liquid metals with help of method, based on interaction of moving liquid with magnetic field. Magnetic flow meter of liquid metal consists of pipe, two frameless saddle-shaped form induction coils, having shape of enveloping pipe ellipses, magnetic conductor made in form of hollow cylinder, and eight pairs of electrodes, fixed to external surface of pipe. Electrodes are arranged in pairs of diametrically opposite to each other along line perpendicular to axis of channel in plane perpendicular to axis of inductor, wherein coordinates of lines connecting pairs of electrodes, read from the point of intersection of axis of inductor with tube axis, have following values: , , , , , , , where a is distance from axis of inductor to beginning of working pipe section, b is distance from axis of inductor to end of working pipe section.

EFFECT: technical result is increase of accuracy of measuring flow rate of liquid metal.
