SUBSTANCE: according to the invention the switching indicator (10), earthed by a power cable vehicle (100) in accordance with the invention, contains an indicator chain (11), DC voltage adjuster (12) for DC power supply and amplifier (13). The indicator chain (11) is configured to supply current of base of transistor base (V4), included in the amplifier (13), via a high impedance connection, to, at least, a neutral conductor (2) of the power cable when connecting the power cable to the electrical network. The flow of the current of the transistor base (V4) through the power cable to the earth point of the electrical network causes a change in the operating state of the transistor (V4). A change in the operating state of the transistor may indicate whether the power cable is connected to the AC voltage mains or not. Instead of a transistor amplifier, an operating amplifier or comparator can also be used.
