FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in automotive internal combustion engines, which are intended for motor vehicles. Internal combustion engine of the motor vehicle comprises the oil sump (13), above which the cylinder block (10) is fixed. Cylinder block (10) comprises the connecting rod chamber (11) defined by the wall (15) with the hole (16) formed therein, through which the end (17) of the crankshaft (12) located in the chamber (11) passes. Engine flywheel (20) is fixedly attached to the end (17) of the crankshaft (12) and is located outside the chamber (11). Engine flywheel (20) comprises the tubular projection (22) that is configured in order to cover the end (17) of the crankshaft (12). Tubular projection (22) of the flywheel passes inside the chamber (11) through the circular hole (16). Motor vehicle containing the engine is disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result is to simplify the assembly of the engine.
