FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to mirrors with an integrated touch screen panel, in particular a capacitive touch screen panel. Present invention also relates to a method of making a mirror device with a capacitive touch screen. Mirror device (100) with touch screen, comprising touch screen panel (10) and mirror surface (20). Touch screen panel (10) comprises a grid of capacitive sensors (12) for detecting the position of an input object, such as a finger tip (F), next to the touch screen panel (10). Mirror surface (20) is made with possibility of at least partial reflection of mirror image (M) on front side of mirror surface (20). Mirror surface (20) comprises reflecting metal layer (21) divided into separate metal sections (21a, 21b), which are electrically isolated from each other by means of a single adjacent gap (G), allowing capacitive sensor (12) to detect the position of the input object through mirror surface (20).
EFFECT: invention discloses a mirror device with a capacitive touch screen and a manufacturing method.
