FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides for the direct reduction of iron ore concentrate through two fluidized beds. Each fluidized bed consists of a bubbling bed and a circulating layer. Due to the gas treatment and high-speed gas treatment of the circulating layer, which is carried out in series, the gas utilisation ratio and reduction efficiency increase at each reduction stage. After the reduced gases have undergone preheating, they are separately directed to the pre-reduction stage and the final reduction stage to reduce the ore. Due to the gas treatment, carried out at different stages, the pressure is correspondingly decreased in the process of treatment. Hot flue gases, produced by burning in a gas heater, are sent to the ore preheating system used to heat the iron ore concentrate.
EFFECT: reducing energy costs, reducing harmful emissions.
