FIELD: textile, paper.

SUBSTANCE: method for producing a wrapping material from a continuous web of wrapping sheets for hygienic products is provided. Each wrapping sheet has an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface comprises of an edge region including an inner edge portion and an outer edge portion. The wrapping sheet has at least one first folding axis separating the wrapping sheet to the first zone and the second zone. The first zone comprises of the first central portion, and the second zone comprises of the second central portion. In accordance with the present invention the method comprises of steps of (a) making one inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge region of the first zone with the first adhesive, providing for the repeated hermetic connections so that another one of the inner and outer edge portions of the edge region of the first zone is free from the adhesive; (b) making one inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge region of the second zone with the first adhesive, providing for repeated hermetic connections so that the other inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge region of the second region is free from the adhesive, ensuring complementarity relative to the edge region of the first zone; (c) making at least one of the first central portion of the first and the second zone of the central portion of the second zone with the second adhesive, while the steps (a) to (c) are carried out simultaneously.
