SUBSTANCE: packaging element (301) for hygienic products is formed from a sheet of material having an inner surface (302). Mentioned inner surface (302) comprises an edge portion provided with an adhesive (12) enabling re-sealing to close the packaging element. The sheet has a longitudinal center line (L1) and at least one transversely extending axis (309, 309') folding the sheet into the first zone (310) and the second zone (311). The protrusion (313) is located at the edge portion (304) of the first region (310). Lug (313) runs in the longitudinal direction (L) of the specified edge part (304) so that length (a) protrusion (313), defined along or parallel to the centerline (L1) from the base (b) to the outer edge of the protrusion (318) protrusion (313) is 0.5 cm or more.
