SUBSTANCE: packaging element is formed of a sheet of material having an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface comprising an edge region comprising an inner edge portion and an outer edge portion. Sheet comprises at least one first fold axis dividing the sheet into a first region and a second region. One of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the first region is provided with a re-adherent adhesive to thereby form the first adhesive zone, and the other of the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion of the edge zone of the first region is left free of the adhesive. In addition, the inner edge portion or the outer edge portion of the edge region of the second region corresponding to the edge portion carrying the adhesive of the first region is left free of the adhesive such that when the sheet is folded around the first folding axis, the edge portions bearing the re- regions were brought into contact with the adhesive-free edge portions in the second region. Distance between the at least one first folding axis and the first adhesive zone is 1-20 mm, preferably 2-18 mm, more preferably 3-15 mm.
